About
Photographer and director based in Barcelona.
My mother says Carmina was the name I chose: I introduced myself in a dream she had a month after finding out she was pregnant. With complete certainty, she told my father it would be a girl, and that her name would be Carmina.
Telling stories has been with me ever since. So has photography.
There were cameras at home: my father’s and my nono’s. We have been a family of photographers since 1954, aunts included. Three generations of a profession — not to say a passion — that has mutated until it is almost unrecognisable in a world run by images.
Today I work as a photographer and creative. I use light, colour and narrative to tell stories that feel true: uncomfortable at times, but deep.
Argentinian, based in Barcelona. My work moves between fashion, portraiture and conceptual series, always starting from one question: what should this image make you feel?
I direct projects end to end — concept, casting, set, camera and final selection — and work with a small team of stylists, producers and editors chosen for each project.
In 2026 I founded VÉRTIGO, an intimate art-photography experience with full direction and an editorial eye.
